Giles of this city and Mildred Barker also of Springville were granted a license to wed Tuesday Tues-day at the County clerk's office.- - Mrs. Julia Maycock will be hostess host-ess to the Daughters of Pioneers Camp No. 1 at her home Thursday April 13 at 2 o'clock. The history of "Grandfather" Huntington' will be given by Mrs. Ann -Mendenhall. All members are urged to attend.- A nicely arranged social featured tfie Second ward M. I. - A. senior class activity night Tuesday under the direction of Mrs. Mae Fletcher and Milton Harrison. Horace Clark entertained ' with violin selections during the evening; and the Fox sisters furnished vocal numbers. Miss Nell Caffell reviewed in a'very delightful -manner the book "The White Bird Flying". Refreshments were served in conclusion to 24 cln.ss members and visitors. J. F. Wingate of the high school, will give a talk on the art exhibit, at a meeting of the Home Culture club, at the school, Friday at 3 oclock. A number of relatives and friends delightfully surprised S. A delicious luncheon concluded the party. The Alpha Beta club .members will meet Friday at 3 o'clock at the high school art gallery to view the exhibit.
