Show Mary A. Crosson Mary Alice Layton Crosson, 76, died Jan. 10, 1988 at an Orem care center. She was born Aug. 12, 1911 in Kaysville, to George C. and Annie Secrist Layton. She married Richard Thomas Jex Nov. 2, 1932. They were later divorced. She married William Fleet Jan. 22, 1937, and they were later divorced. di-vorced. She married Albert Bernard Crosson Aug. 14, 1947. He died Aug. 9, 1969. She attended school in Kaysville and graduated from Davis High School. She operated a beauty salon in North Davis County for several years and was manager of the Cameo House Apartments in Albany, New York and later was manager of Skyline View Apartments Apart-ments in Layton. She was an active member of the LDS Church. She is survived by a daughter, Mrs. Preston M. (Betty Jane) Merrill, Mer-rill, Orem; 10 grandchildren, four great-grandchildren and brothers and sisters: Mrs. Ralph L. (Vera) Cottrell, Ralph H. Layton, Mrs. Leo H. (Lucille) Richins, all of Kaysville; Howard S. Layton, Mrs. Conrad B. (Ruth) Harrison, Alan W. Layton, all of Salt Lake City. She was preceded in death by a daughter, Mrs. James L. (Mary Ann) Thunder; a son, John Albert Crosson and two brothers, Clarence Clar-ence G. and Myron M. Layton. Funeral services will be held Thurssday, Jan. 14 at 2 p.m. at the Lindquist Kaysville Mortuary, 400 N. Main. Friends may call Wednesday 6-8 p.m. and Thursday one hour prior to service. Interment will be in the Kaysville Kaysvil-le City Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, flow-ers, the family suggests contributions contribu-tions to the Primary Children's Medical. Center. |
