Show CIVIC CLUBS MEET IN KIABAB JUNE 4 The time of the meeting of the Associated As-sociated Civic Clubs has been changed to Thursday, June 4, at five o'clock at the V. T. Park, Kaibab Forrest, Arizona, Ari-zona, according to a letter read at the luncheon meeting of the Milford Lions yesterday noon. The meeting is under the auspices of the Kanab Lion's Club who will entertain en-tertain the visitors with a banquet and dance the same evening. Another letter from the Kanab Lions Club of general interest was read at the meeting. "To whom it may concern: There has been a great deal of un- reliable information put out about the . roads of Southern Utah and Northern Arizona. For this reason the Kanab '.Lion's Club wish to give. the following first hand information: "The roads to Bryce Canyon National Na-tional Park are open and in good shape. The Union Pacific Lodge will not be open for a few days but accomodations acco-modations can be had about three niiies back. "The roads to Zion Canyon National Park are open; also, the road from Zion National Park to Mount Canr-el through the new tunnell in fact, this Ij.st road is always open. "The road to the North Rim of the Grand Canyon has been open for more than two weeks. The Union Pacific Lodge will not be open for a few days, but there are good accommodations at the V T. Ranch Hotel, seventeen miles this side of Grand Canyon. "The road from Kanab via the new Gr:.r.d Canyon Bridge to Flagstaff is al ways open. There has been a lot of woik done on this road this spring, and, while it is not an improved road, one can make very good time on this road in its present condition. "Anyone .v. anting first-hand information infor-mation on this section of the coutry will do the Kanab Lion's Club a favor by writing in.
