Milford had itself brought before the limelight in a great way, inasmuch as the Union Pacific Magazine circulates to the 50,C00-cdd employees of the Union Pacific system and goes to public libraries, li-braries, clubs, chambers of commerce, heads of industries, and other in-, dividuals throughout the country. A timely and interesting article about Utah, by Governor George H. Dern, sets forth vividly the varied attributes at-tributes of the state, including pri-' pri-' marily its scenic attractions and industrial in-dustrial growth. The illustrations mentioned supplement in a striking way the description by Governor Derr of the remarkable combination of scenic wonders in Utah. An outdoor enthusiast himself, the governor knows them all first hand, and one's knowledge and appreciation of them? whether one has visited Utah or not, are increased by Governor Dern's pen pictures. National parks and monuments, mountains, valleys, canyons can-yons and cities appear in it. Ninteen pictures from Milford are printed, more than from any other city of railway importance in the state. |
