Show LIONS LOOKING TO MEETING AT PAYSON GET-TOGETHER THIS WEEK IS MARKED BY CONVENTION PLANS Membership in the Milford Lions' club now stands at the twenty-five mark with the application of R. E. El-I El-I lingsworth, successor to Harry Braun. j in business here.- Mr. Ellingsworth was a guest at the weekly luncheon j held this week at the Mdlford dining ' room, and on being introduced to the club, expressed his pleasure at being be-ing present and his desire to affiliate with the club. The club will be entitled en-titled to three delegates and three alternates al-ternates at the district convention, which will be held at Payson, June 3. Other happenings at the luncheon this week were the delegating of three speakers for the high school assembly, and the tendering of a vote of thanks to the Telluride Power Co., for its assistance in putting up a marker to guide airplane pilots. Karl S. Carlton, in his own imitit-able imitit-able way, gave an account of a joint meeting of Elks and Lions clubs which he attended Monday in Salt Lake City. |
