Show Wedding Eells. I Sacred Heart ch'irrh was the scene of I the largest and most fashionable Oath 's . olic wedding of the season, when on Wednesday morning, June 30, Miss Margaret Mar-garet Helen Keefe became the bride of Leo C Hartford, thus uniting two of the stanchest Catholic families of Denver's Den-ver's pioneer days. Rev. Edward J. Barry, S. J.. was celebrant of. nuptial high mass. The bride wore a magnificent magnifi-cent gown of white satin heavily trimmed in duchesse lace and a long tulle veil fastener with valley lilies. Her shower bouquet was of valley lilies and bride's roses. Her only attendant was her sister. Miss Mary Keefe. while Dr. James I. Laughlin acted as best man. The ushers were Daniel Floyd. Henry Wissner, George Hartford and Charles Crowley. The floral decorations decora-tions of the church were unusually beautiful, while the music with Mrs. John S. Schilling at the organ, wag an especial feature of the occasion. After the ceremony the bridal party and immediate im-mediate relatives partook of an elaborate elab-orate wedding breakfast at the home of the bride's father. John A.-Keefe, 1601 York street. Mrs. Hartford is a graduate grad-uate of Sacred Heart High school, and an accomplished musician. Mr. Hartford Hart-ford received his education at Sacred Heart college, and Is now foreman for the Boston & Colorado Smelting company, com-pany, with which his father. Dennis I Hartford, has been connected for a number of years. Mr. and Mrs. Hartford Hart-ford are spending their honeymoon at Glenwood Springs. |
