Show f iflVj Celebrates her 85th birthday Mrs. Columbia L. Argyle will celebrate her 85th birthday Friday. March 20. She was born to Carlos H. and Elizabeth Jones Higginson Love-land Love-land in Chesterfield, Ida. and was the youngest of six children. She also had a half brother. She attended schools in Chesterfield until she came to Utah to attend high school in Salt Lake. Later she married Leland M. Argyle Aug. 19, 1925 in the Salt Lake Temple and has lived in West Bountiful since then. She has been active in the LDS Church holding positions in each of the organizations. She has been an active member of the DUP for many years and has served as captain cap-tain of that group. She also has belonged be-longed to a group of ladies, most of whom were born in Idaho, called "The Idaho Club" for many years. . In August of this year, she and her husband, Leland, will have COLUMBIA L. ARGYLE been married 62 years. They have four daughters, Mrs. Richard T. Winegar, Mrs. Doris A. Keith, Mrs. M. Moreno Robins and Mrs. Glenn H. Wood. They have 15 grandchildren and 23 greatgrandchildren. great-grandchildren. In 1984 they had nine family members serving missions. mis-sions. At the present time Pres. and Sister M. Moreno Robins are serving serv-ing in Guadalajara, Mexico and Elder Brett Wood is serving in Alaska. |
