Show The Cigar Store Indians We are asked what has become of the wooden Indians that used to staml out In front of the cigar stores in the cities. We suppose they have joined the movies and are used in the west erns tiiat thrill the very small boys of today. We'll never forget the first, wooden Indian in full wa. paint thai brandished his tomahawk at us when we went to St. Eouis to take In the fair. We swung onto the Indian as we came around the corner on Market street near the old Union market and our Adam's apple will never come nearer leaving us than It did when we saw the uplifted tomahawk nnd the set face of that wooden terror.
