Show MURDOCK NOTES The question to be debated throughout the state this year is, "Resolved, that the several states should establish a schedule of minimum mini-mum wages for unskilled labor, constitutionally con-stitutionally waived." Class debaters debat-ers are putting forth strenuous efforts ef-forts to prepare for a number of debates de-bates in February. Only one more week and then "Exams". The Freshies look very much worried but the Seniors never let such trifiling matters disturbe their equilibrium. Arch Fotheringham resigned his position as president of the Student Body. The resignation was accepted accept-ed by the students and Zoe Robinson, Robin-son, vice-president, assumed the control con-trol of the Murdock Republic. Are you still talking about that Year Book? Keep it up, for the book ill wbe ready soon. Our basket ball boys returned from their southern trip last Friday, and although we lost both games in numbers, the trip was very successful success-ful in that it gave us the much needed need-ed knowledge that our boys must get in and keep in training. The school has promised to back the coach in this matter and no awards will be given the men who do not live up to the training rules. The boys and coach gave a somewhat detailed de-tailed report in Devotional, Monday, including the blunders which furnished fur-nished a great deal of amusement for the students. |
