Show Another Wedding Another surprise wedding was sprung on Milford young people Monday evening by Marion H. Walker and Miss Janet Rollins. The marriage took place at the home of former Bishop George H. Eyre, a close friend of the Rollins family, following a visit to Beaver, Bea-ver, where the license was procured. pro-cured. Charlie Sorder and Miss Irene McCully acted as witnesses for the ceremony. The bride is the attractive daughter of County Assessor and Mrs. James H. Rollins. She is a graduate of the Milford high school, class of 1935, of which she was salutatorian, and has assisted her father in the assessor's office. The bridegroom is a former C C C enrollee from Kentucky who arrived arriv-ed in Milford with the first complement comple-ment of men for the present D-G camp 35. He took an honorable discharge from the C C C and has been employed as meat cutter for the Jefferson Mercantile company for several months, succeeding Lew Richmond, who returned to railroad service on the Southern Pacific. The News joins with a host of friends in wishing the young couple cou-ple every happiness. |
