The United States recruiting officer of-ficer from Fort Douglas was here Friday soliciting men who would be interested in military training. Assistant Leader Clyde "Bing" Bowen, with the aid of several of the fellows, entertained at the regular company meeting Friday night with music, song and dancing. danc-ing. Then the captain concluded the program by presenting the skins of the week, which were enjoyed en-joyed by all. Parmely " Stevenson, company clerk, was in Beaver Friday, calling call-ing on friends. Foreman Clyde Tervort spent the week-end with his family at Payson. Enrollee Charles E. Smith is in the Milford hospital, where he underwent an operation for appendicitis. appen-dicitis. Miss Lucile Estes, deaconess of the Methodist church, has charge of a Bible class; Foreman Al Barton is instructor in blacksmithing; Gene Hardy has auto mechanics; Assistant Leader John Boles, spe- cialist in photography, has charge of the photography class; J. M. : Hughes gives training in shop : work and leather craft; Mr. Olsen ; in typing and R. W.
