The various departments depart-ments of the "Y" are planning the program which will dramatize the traditional legends of the Christmas Christ-mas season. Christmas trees will be deco rated, wreaths will be hung and fires will be lighted as features of the program which will open with a playlet telling of the history of Christmas presented by a group of Girl Reserves under the direc tion of Mrs. Oharlea Jack. The Rowland Hall choir will give a program ot special music. Mrs. Theo W. Whlteley Is general gen-eral chairman and Mrs. Louis J. Cozza will arrange refreshments. Hogle, 348 East South Temple street The Salt Lake women's chamber of commerce is sponsoring the buffet luncheon from 1 to 3 p. m. and proceeds will be used "to help make Salt Lake City a clean, beautiful and healthful health-ful city." - Mrs. Edwin Rusk Simons is general gen-eral chairman, assisted by Mrs. A. E. Bowen, Mrs. William C. Lukey, Mrs. Margert M. McQullkln. Mrs. Richard K. A. Kletting, and Mrs. Anthony C. Lund. Acting on the hostess committee are Mrs. Ernest Urlen, Mrs. Mary Edgeworth, Mrs. John A. Wldtsoe, Mrs. George J. Dupont Mrs. S, D. Wynn, Mrs. E. E. Corfman and Mrs. Lovina H. McMillan. The ticket committee Includes Mrs. Simons, chairman, Mrs. Ernest Ern-est D. Kimball, Mrs, Samuel A. Cotlereir, Mrs. Patrick FrieirMrs. Alma Woodhall, Mrs. Floyd M. Beach, Miss Jane Gillett and Mrs. W. J. Thomas. Mrs. J. E. Bernstein, Mrs. Claude Miller and Mrs. Friel are in charge ot decorations, while Mrs. Wlllard Youngdale, Mrs. Warren L. Lindsay Lind-say and Mrs. J. L. Mattison will have charge of serving. Catholic Group Will Meet A musical program Will follow the meeting of the literary and current events section of the Catholic Cath-olic Woman's league, which will be held Monday at 2:30 p. m. at Scanlon house, 347 East South Temple street. Mrs. James T. Brennan will d s-cuss s-cuss current events and Catholic action news. A review of Hilaire Belloc's "Louis XIV" will be given by Mrs. James R. Walsh. Wednesday at 1 p. m. the membership mem-bership committee will meet at the home of Mrs. Ray L. Davis, 566 Thirteenth East street. Bridge will follow luncheon. Pythian Sisters Elect Officers Miss Ruth Bircumshaw was elected most excellent chief of Hermione temple No. 8. Pythian Sisters, at a meeting Wednesday night at 41 Post Office place. Mrs. Harry J. Miller was named past chief. Others chosen included Mrs. W. E. Davis, excellent senior; Mrs. Clyde A. Carr, excellent Junior- Mrs. Donald M. Thacker. manager, man-ager, and Mrs. J. A.
