OCR Text	Show PAINTING OF FACE DURING ARGUMENT LEADS TO COURT FARMINGTON A summons had been Issued Thursday by Justice of the Peace Walter Rampton ordering Lawrence H. . Ravnikar. 45, of Farmington, to appear Friday to answer a battery bat-tery charge. A complaint was signed against Ravnikar by Mrs. Nick DeVaus, who told officers the man knocked her to the ground and smeared her face with yellow paint after an exchange of words over his reported failure to carry out an agreement to do some work on Mrs. DeVaus' farm. Mrs. DeVaus said she went to the Ravnikar home to ask him te keep the agreement and that he stepped down from a ladder on which he was painting, struck her and while she was on the ground dashed yellow paint on her face.
