Show w Mrs. Thomas Fotheringham entertained enter-tained at a dinner party last Friday evening in honor of Miss Dorothy Williams, who will teach at Elsinore the coming year. Miss Williams went from here to Beaver for a visit before be-fore going to Elsinore. Mr. Arthur Wood returned Tuesday Tues-day night from Salt Lake While in the city he made it a point to visit the Milford folks who are ill and in hospitals there. He reports H. H.' Pitchforth and P. B. McKeon, who are at the Holy Cross hospital, as getting along very nicely and that Mr. Pitchforth especially looks well. Mrs. Wood is getting along nicely, but it will likely be some time before she is ready to return to Milforc;. Mr. Wood also called on Mrs. H. II Howarth, an employe at the railroad lunch counter, who underwent an operation op-eration Monday at1 the L. D. S. hospital. hos-pital. She was apparently recovering recover-ing from the operation all right, but was very weak. We received a card froni Guy Nichols, .formerly of Milford, which stated he had arrived safely in France. He is in the 326th Aero Squadron. |
