A. liillington and Mrs. Annie B, Peterson were married March 9, 19i2. j Mr. and Mrs. Joseph S. Hyde of j Salt Lake City came to Spring City j on a brief visit returning home Mon- j day. ; Joseph F. Hansen who has been teaching in the Sr. John's Academy ! in Arizona the past winter returned home last week. The school closing there the first week in April, Mr. Hansen and Joseph S. Hyde were the speakers 'at the tabernacle Sunday. Mr. and Mrs. James Willis of California Cal-ifornia are here on a visit with Mrs. Willis's parents, Mr. and Mrs. John T. Blain. Mr. Plain wid leave home April 22nd, for a mission to the Western States. . The 80th Quorum of Seventy are arranging-a program and social for his benefit, which will bo given in the ..abemacje next Sunday Sun-day evening, April 21st' 1 " ' I Mrs. Vincent Billington has come j over from Eureka to remain for the i summer, Mr. Billington having left ! the mine work and gone south to 1 shear sheep. J About 30 men and boys of Spring I City left for Wyoming and other 1 points to shear sheep. Mr. and Mrs. Joseph G, Scofield went to Salt Lake Monday to meet th eirson, Joseph, who will return to SaltLake Tuesday from the North Western States where he has been Idling a mission for the past two years. Leo Lamont Christensen, aged 13 years old died Friday night, April 12th, of diabetes after an illness of over three months. Pie was the son of Mr. and Mrs. James P. Christen-sen Christen-sen of this city. The funeral was held Tuesday April 16th at 3 p. m., in the tabernacle. The speakers were James Christensen, John P. Johnson, Henry Malter of Manti, and Bp. L. O. Larson The music was furnished by the Ward choir, a solo, "Tne Beautiful City," was rendered by Miss Libbie Acord. The t.achers and pupils at school and also the religion class attended the funeral services and presented floral t fferings. |
