Delicious Delic-ious refreshments were served and he evening pleasanll passed in sew-H. sew-H. g and chatting. Olive Neilson, A innifred Jensen and Mrs. Charles Jenhakcr were special guests. Mrs. J. R Earle entertained the members of the 20th Century club at the home of her parents, Mr. and .Mrs. A. Johnson, Thursday April 11th. The lesson, "India" was giv- n by Miss Hilda Madsen and music rendered by Mrs. Earle. Several hems of business were discussed. Jelicious refreshments were served. Avery pleasant surprise was tendered ten-dered Mr. S. D. Longsdorf at the home of Andrew Madsen Sen. Friday Fri-day night. It being Mr Longsdorf's birthday. The time was nicely spent in a leal social way There were about thirty of Mr. Longsdorfs near .'St friends present. He was very appreciative ap-preciative of the respect shown him bv his friends remem'oerance of his birthday. Mrs. Andrew Larsen entertained at an old-fashioned Rag Bee, at her home Friday. A splendid dinner was served at noon and dainty refreshments refresh-ments served at 5 o'clock. Those present were hostess and Mesdames Harriett Cliff, Rakkie Brotherson, Caroline Tidwell, Hannah Hughes, Mary Neilson, Hannah Anderson, Anne Mcintosh, lea Johansen and Sena Johansen, all worked like bees. A number of Harold Jensen's friends tendered him a very pleasant surprise party at his home Friday evening in honor of his nineteenth birthday. Games, music and songs were indulged in until late in the evening when a dainty luncheon was served to the following: Harold Jensen, Jen-sen, Venetta Monsen, Vern Seely, Usher Winters Sterling Ericksen, Stella Jensen, Julia Omstead Ray West, a very pleasant evening was spent. Mr. and Mrs. C. W. Sorensen were host and hostess at an elaborate din tier party at her home Friday afternoon after-noon and evening, In honor of Mrs. Sorensen's birth anniversary. A five course dinner was served at 6 o'clock covers were laid for thirty persons. A beautiful rocker was presented the hostess also a numder of other gifts.
