The Pyramid is informed bv a reliable re-liable party that ducks are being slaughtered in a shameful mannei in the swamps and fields on the west side of the valley near Wales and round towards Chester. Parties who are doing such work are wilfully violating the law, and should be severely deltwith by the proper authorities. At this time of year the ducks should be protected more than at any other time. Many are mating and preparing for the spring hatch and it is a most critical time for such work.
