Suggestive programs for the observance ob-servance of Utah Day, as prepared by the special Utah Day committee and approved by the governor and the state superintendent of public instruction, in-struction, and by the board of governors gover-nors of the Utah Development League, will be carried out in every city and town of the state on April 25. 1912. These programs are as follows: Afternoon Utah Day, April 25. 1. Song, "Utah We Love Thee." 2. Address by official of school, explaining ex-plaining purposes of Utah Day. S. "What Opportunities Utah Offers Of-fers to Young People," prize essay by boy puptl. . "What We Can do to Improve Our Owa Town," by mayor or president presi-dent of Commercial club. 5. "What Utah Day Means to Me," prize essay by girl pupil. 6. "What the Utah Development League Can Accomplish," by Utah Development League representative. 7. Closing song, "America." Program for Evening of Utah Day. Under auspices of Local Commer-oial Commer-oial Clubs. All music to be arranged locally. 1 "Purposes of Utah Day" by mayor or president of Commercial club. 2. "What Can We do to Improve, Our Own Town," to be assigned lo-oally. lo-oally. 3. "What Co-operative Efforts Have Accomplished in Othe,r Communities," Com-munities," to be assigned locally, material ma-terial to be furnished by secretary. 4. "Why Utah Should Rank First Among the Western States," to bs assigned locally. 5. "What the Utah Development League is DoiDg for Utah," representative repre-sentative of Utah Development League, to be assigned. 6. Closing song, "America." It is suggested that each ipeec be limited to 15 minutes.
