Show POTATO CONTEST. Ruel II. Seely of this city has entered en-tered the potato raising contesf, for which the National CooperJBank offers of-fers a preminin of $100.00 and a cup which will be given to the winner, his address, varity of potatoes raised and number of bushels to the sere, will be engraved each year on tr.e silver plate wlrch is placed upon the base of the cup. Only four boys in Sanpete have entered, Ernest Livingston of Manti and Vernon Rovlanceand Freddie Nielson both of Centerfield. and Mr. Seely. It seems that Sanpete is not well enough represented when consider ing its resorces. The time limit for filing enteries is set for April 30th. and boys who are conteplating entering en-tering this contest should do at once The first boy to enter was Horace Tanner, Jr., of Murray. The young est boy so far entered is Alfred jT.'Lund, of Paragonah, Utah. He j will be ten years old on July 7th. |
