Show TEACHERS INSTITUTE HERE ON IWEDNFSDAY Three largely attended sessions of teacher's institute for Nomth Sanpete school district were held here Wednesday Wed-nesday with Supt. A. E. Jones in charge. Departmental meetings featured the days pviiraim with ad dresses by Professor Lofter Bjarnson state supervisor of Gramimar grades and junior high schools, Miss Matilda Petersen, state primary supervisor, Mrs. William Reid, president of the Parent Teacher's Congress of Utah, Miss .Irene Harris, district school nurse, M.rs. Marjorie M. Brom district dis-trict primary supervisor, Miss Mary Wtlliamsen of the department of education ed-ucation at Sno-w College Dr. P. L. Holman, county ,phy.5ician, Supt A. E. Jones and by members of the board of education. Musical nuimbers were y. part of the day's sessions and at noon a ibanquet for all in attendance I was given at North Sanpete high school by the North Sanpete teacher's association. The concluding session Wednesday ' evenin.g was held under tlhe auspices I of the local Paremt Teachers Association, Assoc-iation, and was addressed by Prof. Bjarnson, Mrs. Reid and Miss Petersen. Peter-sen. Mrs. C. W. Sorensen, president of the Mt. Pleasant Teachers Association Asso-ciation was elected district chairman j of the Panent Teachers Association. ! by acclamation, Piano solos were played by Miss Helea Madsen and Miss Grace Sorensen of Moroni. |
