W, Bowen (president of the local Service Star chapter will entertain enter-tain the members at the first of this season's meetlings at her home next Wednesday afternoon. Department committees com-mittees will 'be named at the first meeting. A lauge membership ii desired as same is necessary for the success of the organization, and the officers extend a cordial invitation to all eligible mem'bers to attend the meetings. The Home Culture Club met Wednesday Wed-nesday afternoon at the home of the nresident Mrs. L. R. Christensen. In addition to club members there were 'present as special guests Mrs. H W. f t ttsamiissen. Mrs. lon, Mrs. - V W Sorensen and Mrs. Seymour ijensen. The afternoon's pro-am 'included community singing directed by Mrs. Stanley H. Gill, a book review of Edna Ferber's "So Big" sketch Mrs. E. C.
