Show NEIGHBORHOOD NEWS Supt. A. E. Joiies has announced the appointment of Miss Irene Hawis as North Sanpete district school nurse. Miss Harris is a graduate nurse of the Dee Hospital at Ogden and has studied school health work and nursing at the University of Washington and comes well qualified and high recommended for the new position. Wasatch Academy student body and faculty members spent Saturday 'on the annual school picnic and hik? tin the East canyons. A campfire dinner was served at noon for one .hundred and fifty hungry hikers. Twentieth Century Club work was re?umed at the first of this season's meetings at the home of Mrs. Sterling M. Ericksen Thursday afternoon. The clubs program this year in addition ad-dition to music, lectures and readings will include a study course "Seeing America Through the Short Story." The new officers are: President, Mrs. W. H. Terry; vice-president, Mrs. Sterling Ericksen, corresponding correspond-ing secretary, Mrs. Bent R. Hansen; recording seoretary, Mrs. Stanley K. Gill; treasurer, Mrs. W. H. Brinton: press reporter Mrs. H. C. Jacobs. Four hundred and fifty eight choice Rambouillet rams and ewes purchased here last month by the Russian sheep commission, from the John H. Seely, John K. Madsen, and W. D. Candiand, flocks, were shipped out last Friday evening over the Denver and Rio Grande Western, to Jersey City New Jersey on the first iap of the lon,j journey to Russia Earl IT. Seely and Guy Candiand ac- oimpained the shipment east. Mr. and Mrs. M. A. Winters entertained en-tertained at a beautifully appointed linner Sunday afteruoon in honor of Mirs. Winters 'birthday anniversary. Fifteen guests were present. Mr. and Mrs. O. D. Mc Intyire of Stanrod, Utah are the guests at the home of their daughter, Mrs. E. A. Jones, Mr. and Mrs. Mc Infyre are returning home from a motor trip through California. Miss Margaret Thompson entertained enter-tained at a luncheon and kensington Thursday evening for members of the Junior Uitarary Club.
