Show Deseret . . , Arprilla Scow The Deseret Primary began its work for the winter last Tuesday afternoon. The new president and counselors are Myrle Bennett, Inez Damron, Rae Jensen, and Edna Christensen secretary and treasurer. treasur-er. They are fully organized and are ready for a good Primary year. Mrs. J. A. Bennett announces the arrival of a new granddaughter granddaugh-ter born to Chief Petty Officer and Mrs. Glen H. Cahoon at Ale-meda, Ale-meda, California. Mrs. Beth Moody entertained the Deseret Rook Club at her home or. Wednesday. A very lovely luncheon lunch-eon was served, after which rook was enjoyed by Lillian Pippin, Lucille Lu-cille Sampson Luella Western, Evelyn Ev-elyn Cropper, Carole Warnick, Arprilla Ar-prilla Scow, Mrs. Mel Black, Beth Moody. M-S Dave Moffitt and daughter Vicky from Salt Lake City spent Saturday and Sunday at the home of M-S J. M. Webb. They came down for the pheasant hunt. M-S Elmer Dewsnup returned home Sunday evening after having hav-ing spent ,the past week in Salt Lake City. The Deseret Relief Society held their conference Sunday evening.
