Show Boy Breaks Shoulder Practicing Football Bernell Tolbert, 13-yr old son of M-S Clinton Tolbert, had his left shoulder broken Friday. He was playing at the school yard practicing prac-ticing football when the accident occurred. ', Ccrpt. James K. Melville and his mother, Mrs. Harvey Melville, are visiting here this week from Salt Lake City, with hrs father, and also al-so his sister, Mrs. Lois Maxfield. Captain Melville was released on Oct. 10 from the air force; he was in the European theatre and in Italy. John Melville, who is stationed sta-tioned in Salt Lake City at Fort Douglas, made the trip with him. John is his brother. Pfc. Royal B. Terry, son of Mr. and Mrs. Royal Terry of Lynndyl has been discharged from the Army Ar-my at the Fort Douglas separation center. He served for nine months and is authorized to wear the A-merican A-merican Defense Ribbon, good conduct con-duct and Victory Medal. His wife lives in Salt Lake City. Private Howard Billings return-- return-- ed to Fort Sam Houston after being be-ing home for a week with his parents, par-ents, M-S Gerald Billings; and Pvt. George Billing returned to Camp Hood to await further assignment. Another son, Cecil, who is in the 1 Navy is at the University of Calir ' fornia, in the NROTC program. |
