Show North Tract , . . I Mrs. J. B. Walker j The Jolly Stitchers bazaar was a bang up affair. Just seemed like I everyone was our friend. Our sup-l sup-l per was well received. The bazaar ba-zaar articles sold readily and the dancing was mainly featured by ! the "younger elders." A tidy sum j was realized from the affair. I M-S L. Morrison left Tuesday to spend the winter in California. They will probably buy a small home until they can build on their property. Well, they are lucky people an estate in Delta and a rest camp in Cal. Max Thornton of Fillmore visited visit-ed over Monday with Max's family, fam-ily, and this white shingle business busi-ness is like the measles. Everybody's Every-body's getting white shingle on the outside of their houses. Now it is the Thorntons home. Makes a mighty nice looking home, too. Well there are a few exception. Mr.H uff painted his house green and Bishop Larson put red shingles shin-gles on his roof, but darn it, their houses are brick and they couldn't nail the shingles on "no how." Another serviceman finds happiness hap-piness in the bonds of matrimony. I'm speaking of Dale Tolbert and Gene Overson. There were so darn many pheasant pheas-ant hunters you couldn't hardly drive up and down the road. The cattlemen were nearly distracted trying to ride herd. We heard A-von A-von Barney had a critter killed. Will Walker's relatives came before be-fore Will was out of bed. You couldn't blame Will for being tired tir-ed tho, the way he waited on the Jolly Stitchers at the bazaar. S. H. Wright didn't visit us. He furnished furnish-ed us his window so graciously then woudn't come out and eat our cooking. Maybe he was wise after all. We might have sold him so much bazaar merchandise he still would be out a good bit of money. But anyway, Spence, we say Thanks for the window. Ralph Henderson and his father John are here visiting friends. Ralph was released from the service ser-vice Nov. 3. He kas present at the program Monday night at the high school. Dean Boyle, of Park City, it visiting vis-iting in Sugarville as a guest of the Shields. Curt and Rom Shields left Sunday Sun-day for San Francisco to visit with Max. Mr. Oppenheimer and Rulon Anderson An-derson are both returned from the hospital, much improved in health. The Sutherland Relief Society held their conference Sunday evening. eve-ning. The program was well rendered. ren-dered. They are preparing for a bazaar in early November. Well, if the Jolly Stitchers can decide how to spend their money at their meeting this Friday I'll let you know. Jay Bea. WANTED: A clean and good used car for cross country travel.
