Show o ; James S. Crystal ; Laid At Rest ! Impressive funeral services were ; held Friday afternoon, July 26, at 2 i p. m. in the Alpine Stake Tabernacle j for James S. Crystal who died at the j family residence July 23rd, following a lingering illness, which has extended extend-ed over a period of two years. Bishop Joseph H. Storrs of the Second ward officiated. The Second Ward Relief Society quartet sang as an opening selection "Come Thou Disconsolate," after which Counselor John H. Robinson gave the invocation. invoca-tion. The next musical selection was a vocal duet "Sometime Somewhere" sung by Moral D. Steele and Verdell Webb Lira. The speakers were President S. I Chipman, President C E. Young and Bishop Storrs. Each conveyed many words of consolement to the bereaved family. Interspersing the speakers Mrs. Mary E- Abel read a biographical sketch of the 'deceased, Luzell Chip-man Chip-man sang a vocal solo accompanied by Miss Faye Parker at the piano, and Leland Priday played a violin solo accompanied by Miss Helen Mof-fett. Mof-fett. The closing musical was the num- ber "My Father Knows" sung by the Relief Society quartet. Benediction was pronounced by Leo T. Shelley. Interment was made in the City Cemetery where Patriarch Warren B. Smith .dedicated the grave- |
