Mr. Tomlinson has been operating three fruit stands in Sevier county during this season, one at Gunnison, one at Salina and the largest larg-est one at Richfield. Mrs. Tomlinson has been in charge of the Riclifieia store with Miss Orpha Clark assisting. Mr. Tomlinson has been hauling Dy truck, fruit, berries and produce from this part of the stale, and from the Salt Lake market to his stands. S. U Swenson, who has been at the L. D. S. Lake taking care of him. Mrs. Maud D. Edmunds of Salem, visited with her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Joseph A. Dickerson Wednesday. Mrs. E. J. McCown of Pasadena, California is also a guest at the Dickerson home. She expects to remain in Utah for a month's visit with relatives and frien'ds. Miss "ina Halliday of American Fork and Miss Maurine Gamett of Pleasant Grove will entertain the ,L'-Calames ,L'-Calames Club of Salt Lake Saturday (today) at the Timpanogos Cave Camp in American Fork canyon. They will enjoy a hike to the Cave which will be followed by a picnic luncheon on their return to camp. Miss Helen Weeks was a Salt Lake isitor Tuesday. Slie visited at the L. D. S. Hospital where her father was taken Monday for treatment for rheumatism. Mrs. Mary Cooper and daughters, Amy, LaRene and Leona, and her mother, Mrs. Eliza Lewis, motored to Payson Thurs'day to attend the funeral fune-ral of Mrs- T. L. Tolhurst. Mr. Tol-hurst Tol-hurst is a member of the N'ebo District Dis-trict School Board and a life long friend of the Cooper family. The family of Mary Jane Richins pleasantly surprised her last Saturday Satur-day evening, the event being her birth day. The evening was spent in family chat, followed by refreshments.
