Show APPLICATIONS AVAILABLE AVAIL-ABLE FOR COLLEGE QUALIFICATION TESTS Until April 2?, 1966, Selective Se-lective Service local boards of the state of Utah will have available applications for all college students or high school seniors desiring to take the Selective Se-lective Service College Qualification Quali-fication Test. Colonel Evan P. Clay, State Director of Selective Selec-tive Service for Utah announced today. Colonel Clay stated that the College Qualification Test would be administered at eight institutions of higher learning in the state of Utah on May 14, May 21, and June 3, 1966. A student registrant desiring to take the College Qualification Selective Service local board. Colonel Clay stated that the purpose of the test is to provide additional evidence for the use of local boards in considering the deferment of a registrant from military service as a student. stu-dent. All Selective Service registrants who are presently enrolled in a college or university univer-sity or who are high school graduates or high school seniors intending to go to college are encouraged to make application applica-tion and take the Selective Service Qualification Test. A student registrant who is presently deferred, whether as a student or in any other deferred de-ferred class should give serious consideration in taking the test as no deferment is permanent and the results of the test might be very important during the next school year for many registrants re-gistrants who are presently deferred de-ferred as students or in any other deferred class. Colonel Clay emphasized that application must be made to Selective Service local boards and application to take the test must be made no later than April 23, 1966. The forms are available at the Selective Service Board office in the courthouse in Duchesne, Du-chesne, from the board clerk, Mrs. Helen B. Odekixk. 1 r |
