Show Hanna Area News by Tracy Roberts Clifford Roberts and Jay C. Humphrey went to Salt Lake Saturday where they visited Roland Roberts who is in the LDS Hospital. He has blood clots in his spleen. Also irffection in his stitches. We wish him a speedy recovery. Mrs. Dorothy Bertola left Tuesday for Coos Bay, Oregon, where she will visit a while with Mrs. Mott Lieinex and Hopkin Jones then back to Boise, Idaho, where she will visit with Mr. and Mrs. Jim Costell and Bertha Jones and family. Mrs. Miirarete Giles went to Salt Lake last week then Arylus Iorg took Marion Chia-rclli Chia-rclli back as far as Las Vegas where Rosie Baron met her and took her back to California so she could receive medical aid. Mrs. Chiarelli is visiting her brother in Salt Lake a few days. Margarete returned home Wednesday. Mrs. Myrtle Rhoades went to Provo Wednesday where she visited her brother and wife who were enroute to Portland, Oregon. Mr. and Mrs. Ross Mallett and boys of Salt Lake and Mrs. Vida Curry spent Friday and Saturday at Mrs. Curry's home in Hanna. Mr. and Mrs. Ed Voda of Salt Lake spent the weekend at their home in Hanna. Mr. and Mrs. Lynn Curry and family, Mr. and Mrs. Joe Curry and family, Ed and Vida Curry and Mr. and Mrs. Ross Mallett and family had a family fam-ily dinner at the home of Vida Curry last Sunday. Mr. and Mrs. Jerry Lee and son of Or em and Mrs. Linda Kaiser of Salt Lake spent the weekend visiting Mr. and Mrs. Roy Lee and family. Toni Fabrizio of Provo spent the weekend visiting her folks in Hanna. Those from Hanna who attended the DUP party at Tabiona. Monday night were Mr. and Mrs. A. Foster Rhoades Mr. and Mrs. Lloyd Roberts, Mrs. Dorothy Bertola, and Rosie Fabrizio. James Bacon was the guest speaker. He talked on the Lost Rhoades Gold Mine. Mr. Bacon's sister and Ted Wilckens from Roosevelt also attended. Light refreshments were served to about 18 guests. |
