Show Hannah Robison Buried Here On Wednesday Interment was made Wednesday afternoon in the Pleasant Grove City cemetery of the body of Mrs. Hannah N. Robison, 84, for many years a resident of Pleasant Grove. Mrs. Robison died in a Salt Lake hospital Monday after a long illness. ill-ness. Mrs. Robison was born March 16, 1870 at Malmo, Sweden, and when a small child came with her parents to Pleasant Grove where she attended school. Later she graduated from the University of Desenet and is an emeritus club member. She taught school in Pleasant Grove and in 1895 married mar-ried Daniel H. Robison, in the Salt Lake temple. She was a pioneer pio-neer educator of this community. She lived some years in Manti where her husband was principal of the high school. She returned to Pleasant Grove when Mr. Robison Rob-ison was made principal of the Pleasant Grove high school and later la-ter moved to Salt Lake City where husband continued in educational work. She was active in temple and Relief Society work. Survivors include one son, By-ard By-ard Robison, two daughters, Mrs. Minerva Bardsley and Mrs. Florence Flor-ence Deardon, and a niece, whom she reared, Arleen Cain, all of Salt Lake City; one sister, Eliza Nelson of Provo, six grandchildren, and eight great grandchildren. Funeral services for Mrs. Robison Rob-ison were held Wednesday at 2 p.m. in Salt Lake City. |
