Show Central Vocational School Slates Open House Sept. 7-10 Central Utah Vocational School has slated openhouse for the week of Sept. 7 through Sept. 10, according accord-ing to Ernest Dean, chairman of the open house. Mr. Dean states that 10,000 persons are expected to visit the new school during the week from the hours of 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. daily. Shops are equipped and ready for instruction at the new building build-ing in machine shop, electricity, electronics and radio, air conditioning condition-ing and refrigeration, welding, industrial in-dustrial mechanics, auto body repair re-pair and painting, woodworking and vocational business. Classes are also ready to start in auto mechanics, diesel mechanics, farm mechanics, trade exploratory and practical nursing. These classes are still housed at the campus on South University Ave. because of Insufficient space to house them in the new building. Thousands of dollars worth of equipment has been moved from the old school building to the new school building and the new building build-ing is truly a worthwhile addition to the vocational education program. pro-gram. The Central Utah Vocational School serves all of Utah, Wasatch, Juab, and Millard counties and furnishes fur-nishes instruction to students of those areas. The general public is invited to attend openhouse. Especially are all high school students, civic leaders, lead-ers, civic clubs, parents and teachers teach-ers of all elementary and secondary second-ary grades and all business and labor la-bor organizations encouraged to visit the school during the open house week. |
