Show IMPRESSIVE SERVICES FOR JOHNHLGARTER Funeral services were held In the Provo First ward chapel Monday afternoon for John H. Carter, contractor con-tractor and builder, who died suddenly sud-denly Thursday at Chinook, Mont., following a stroke. Bishop Wnlter P. Whitehead presided pre-sided and the invocation was by S. D. Cassity. Tbe opening musical number was a vocnl trio by Mrs. Sarah Ramsey, Mrs. Frank Stuhbs and Mrs. Albert Jones. Mrs. Jo- seph Hinckley played the accom- ( paniments. j The speakers who eulogized the j life of their departed friend were 1 Walter Adnms, liisbop Joseph A. Buttle, David John and Hisbop ; Whitehead. . Other musical numbers were a vocal solo by Mrs. Ramsey ! and n duet by Bishop Whitehead 1 and Mrs. Ramsey. ! The benediction was by Bishop V John Jnbnson. Interment was in tbe ! Provo cemetery, where the dedien- tory praper was offered by Chnrles J K II. Taylor. |
