Show College Debators Discuss j World Problems At Rotary j Maurice J. Miles, who is in charge : of the debating class at the Dixie I college in the absence of Pres. j Glenn E. Snow, presented two of his students in short talks at the regular Rotary luncheon held in the AiTowhead hotel on last Friday. Fri-day. The two boys who spoke were DeLance Squire of Hurricane and Linford Christensen of Springdale. Mr. Squire chose as his subject, "Japan and the Far East Situation", Situa-tion", while Mr. Christensen discussed dis-cussed ."Germany". They both gave short reviews (Continued from first page) of how the present situations had developed in these countries and showed what was happening at the present and what might be the outcome. The subjects were discussed primarily as they would effect this country. The Rotarians report that the boys handled their subjects ably and presented some interesting sidelights. |
