Show Virgin Valley Loses Overtime Game to Las Vegas BUNKER VTLLE, Nev., Jan. 28 The Virgin Valley high school lost to the Las Vegas high school on Saturday night in an extra period game on the local court. The game was a battle all the way. Both teams held advantages several times before the final whistle. Ken Blake, former Virgin high and Dixie high player, scored half of the Las Vegas points and without with-out him Las Vegas wouldn't have had a chance. The gym was packed and the game kept the spectators on their feet throughout. Tobler played the best ball for Virgin. The Virgin high B team defeated defeat-ed the Las Vegas high B team easily in a preliminary game 23-7. Virgin Valley won from Overton Over-ton 40-29 and Alamo 3S-21 last week. The students met in Mesquite where everyone engaged in yells, marching, singing and band numbers. num-bers. The school buses then took all the students to Bunkerville where the rally continued with an enormous bonfire parade, after which lunch was served to all students.
