Show Annual Gold and Green Ball Rated 'One of Best' The annual Gold and Green M.I.A. Ball held last Friday night, has been reported as one of the most successful of these dances held in St. George. As usual the three wards combined for the event. Miss Noma Andrus of the south ward, won the vote for Queen and Murray A. Webb, of the east ward, was honored as King of the M Men. There was a large attendance from each of the local wards as well as many from surrounding sur-rounding towns. Following the presentation of the Royal consorts of the evening. 20 couples paid tribute to them in dances featuring the "Gold and Green Caprice" as the floor show, followed by the two official M.T.A. dances, the Gleam Waltz and the Aloha Fox-trot. |
