The British farmer, the best farmer in the world, drives 78.2 per cent of his crops to market; the U. S. farmer drives only 56 per cent which means that 44 per cent of the crops are sold from the farm without any return of humus and fertility to the soil. John P. Larson of Moab Utah, was presented a gold medal by Gov. Wm. Spry in behalf of the Panama Pacific Exposition for being the Grand Champion Corn Grower of Utah. He raised 15G bushels of corn to the acre. Tou D.
