Show Holden Happenings ' i We are having real spring weather at present. The Home Economics Ass'n held their meeting-: last week with 70 members in attendance. An instructive talk on the preservation pres-ervation of Health was given by Mrs. Elmeda Johnson and musical musi-cal numbers comprised the program, pro-gram, after which yeast and rising ris-ing bread, thimble, trifle and burnt leather cake making were demonstrated. A weight dance was also given under their direction dir-ection in order to raise money for a fly campaign. It was one of the most successful parties of the season. . A baby girl arrived at the home of Simeon Stephenson Feb. 3rd. All concerned doing well. Mr. and Mrs. John Crosland have gone to Nephi to visit their daughter, Mrs. Len Jones. Mrs. E. Brown of Scipio, and Mrs. Bertha Warner, of Fillmore, are here taking care Of their mother, Mrs. Chloe Johnson. Miss Bessie Holman, of Canada Cana-da is' here, the guest of her grandmother, Mrs. Elizabeth fvenney. Mrs. Fred Stephensen is here paying, her husband's relatives an extended visit. The S. O. D. H. girls were entertained en-tertained by Mercy Stephenson ' last Tuesday night.. The Relief Society will give a calico and overall ball next Fri. , night. All are invited to attend |
