Show given by the boys. All report having an enjoyable time. Men were busy hauling ice a few days last week. We were afraid there was not going to be any to store away for summer ose, but the last cold spell settled the question for us. Alvin and Alton Lyman have gone to Idaho on a business and sight seeing trip. Niels Christenson and family are here visiting with relatives. Hilda Anderson has gone to Oasis to visit with her folks a few days. A number of students are home again visiting with their folks and enjoying the spring weather. Agnes Lyman who has been ill for some time is on th improve. Oak City Offerings i It looks as though spring has come to stay as we have had regular reg-ular spring weather over a week. 1 We all hope it will' not get the : fruit trees too far along or there will be danger of another fruit crop failure this year. A number of Leamington peo- ' pie are bu:y working on the ' canal below town. A short play and dance was given here Friday night by some colored gentlemen. ' They certainly certain-ly showed the peopie a lively time. The married men and boys, called "The Stiffs and Limbers," challenged one another for a rabbit rab-bit hunt a week ago Tuesday. The stiffs won by a few ears. Something over 2300 rabbits were killed. That ought to help the crops a little tnia summer. A dance and supper was fiven |
