The first prize was awarded to Miss Henrietta (' Biehler and Lean Vorwaller, ; and the four remaining prizes t were awarded to the Misses - Eilzabeth Orr and Amy Lake l and Messrs. Armon Hampton t and James Bohn. It was a de t cided success and everyone seern- : ed to enjoy themselves immen- " sely. We trust that this up- ; building work will be continued J as it is greatly appreciated by che parents as well as the chiid- 1 ren of this place. j. Miss Daisy DuBoi3 was very ill last week but we are glad tc hear she is improving. The heroic rabbit hunters oi Abraham (who were defeated) gave a successful dance and oys- ter supper at the town hall last Friday evening. A program 1 was also rendered very nicely and everything from the danc-'' danc-'' ingot' "Siamese Twins," from , Michigan, to a stump speech by "One Paine," of our city, was ' good. Abraham farmers are some what regretting the fine weath-, weath-, er, as it means work, work. The many friends of Mrs. Roy ! Bills are glad to hear jhe is better bet-ter after a short illness. |
