Show RANDOLPH "CASE "I AROUSES INTEREST There is considerable discussion in legal and police court circles with regard re-gard to the war in which County Attorney At-torney Charles Furr conducted the! case of the State vs. William Henry Randolph yesterday morning in police court before Judge Roberts. The attorney came back with Randolph Ran-dolph from Camp Eustls, West Virginia, Vir-ginia, on Thursday afternoon, having in his company the ten-year-old boy, son of Randolph and the divorced wife who was given custody of the two children in her decree of divorce. The boy had been brought from the state of Michigan whero he had been taken by his father. Though he arrived in Ogden Thursday Thurs-day afternoon, the county attorney did not acquaint Mrs. Randolph of his arrival ar-rival and of the presence of the boy for whom she has longed, and the case went into court yesterday morning morn-ing without Mrs. Randolph being made aware of any proceedings at all. When she was made acquainted with the facts, she rushed to the police court where it was possible for her to retain re-tain Attorney Harris, as her lawyer. The attorney for the county stated that he had no difficulty with his prisoner coming from Camp Eustls to Chicago, from Chicago into Michigan Michi-gan and from the latter state to Ogden, Og-den, and that he would recommend the fixing of bail in a small sum. The attorney stated that he had been unable to get possession of the little girl, 2 years old whom Juvenile court authorities in Michigan had , handed over to the husband's mother. I According to testimony of Mrs. I Randolph, the police, and Commissioner Commis-sioner Miles L. Jones it has been entirely en-tirely duo to the good services of the chief of police and Sergeant Jensen, togother with the officials of "the local draft board that Mr. Randolph has been found.
