Show (Special to The Standard ) Mrs. Emma Grover and son Albert left Monday for Parker, Idaho, to spend the winter with Mrs. drover's daughter, Mrs. Poulton. ' Mrs. E. V. Schneider was -i visitor to Tremonton Monday. Ellwood Winters has returned from Fort McArthur, Texas. Ho has been released from the service, Mrs. Ross has gone to Ephraim to visit relatives and friends. Miss Emily Manning, who came to Garland from Ogden to be with her mother, who has had an attack of influenza, in-fluenza, has returned to Ogden again to continue her duties as a nurse at the Dee hospital. Miss Nellie Barnard is spending a few days in Brigham City visiting relatives rel-atives and frlendB. Miss La Van Capenor has returned fronOa few days' visit with relatives in Salt Lake. Mr. and Mrs. It. T. Shaw entertained at dinner last Sunday for a few of their friends. Mrs. Roy Barnard is visiting with her parents In Brigham City. Mrs. Nels Hansen returned to her home in Salt Lake after spending a few weeks here as the guest of her parents Mr, and Mrs, A. R. Capener. The Garland library opened its doors for the distributing of books, but it is not et safe to open its reading rooms. William Bradford returned home Tuesday from the training camp at West Virginia after being honorably released from service. Tremonton. Mrs. L. Thompson of Garland was attending at-tending to business here last Saturday. Satur-day. L. M. Hurd of Snowville was in Tremonton Tre-monton Tuesday. Mr. and Mrs. A. M Fishburn went to Brigham City Sunday. They were accompanied by Mrs. J. McMaster, mother of Mrs. Fishburn. LeRoy B. Young of Brigham City was a visitor and attending to business matters in Tremonton Tuesday. |
