Show MEMBERS OF THE RED CROSS. You gave day after day of hard and conscientious work to the Amer ican Red Cross during the stormy trying days of war. Many of you worked uncomplainingly ten and twelve and even eighteen hours a day, week in and week out. You did it spontaneously under the pressure of the moment and the energy and i enthusiasm that always goes with war. Then when the fighting stopped stop-ped and your continuous service was not needed you took a rest which you well deserved and had decidedly ea rued. Now the Reel Cross is again ap pealing to you, but appealing to you in days of peace for the great work of peace. Work which must be done wil bout blare of trumpets and the rattle of drums, hut which must be done and done as vigorously and ar well as the war work. But the Reel Cross is asking far less of you now than it did in the days of war.
