Nelson and her daughter, Lillian, were enroute to Salt Lake City last Friday, when they met with an accident in Daniels Canyon, wrecking Mr. Timothy's new Buick. The accident was attributed to slick roands and stalled cars. No one was injured. Driving to Salt Lake City, Wednesday, were Mrs. - Robert Montgomery and children, Mrs. Wayne Malin, Mrs. Clair Ashton and Mrs. Bennie Schmiett. Visitors at the Cliff Memmott residence last weekend were Mrs. W. F. Myers and Mr. and Mrs. George Wallace and daughter, daugh-ter, Joan, of Price. A birthday dinner was held in honor of Mrs. Myers Sunday. She will be feted at an open house Friday Fri-day at the home of her daughter, daugh-ter, Mrs. Wallace, in Price. Mary Mildred Norling visited the past week here, purchasing a new Packard from Bruce Fitzgerald. The Fitzgeralds and Joe Mal-nars Mal-nars accompanied Mrs. Norling to San Francisco, where they will attend a Packard convention conven-tion and then fly back Friday. Proud parents of a new son are Mr. and Mrs. Bert Gardner. The arrival made entrance into the world Sunday, Nov. 9 in the LDS hospital in Salt Lake City. Bert is looking forward to their return home. Congratulations, Gardners! House guests of Mr. and Mrs. George Hacking last Thursday and Friday were Mrs. Hacking's sister and brother-in-law, Mr. I and Mrs. Paul R. Harris, of Seattle, Washington. Salt Lake City visitors Monday Mon-day and Tuesday were Mr. and Mrs. Howard Harrison and children, chil-dren, Nancy and Bob. Mr. and Mrs. Lester Gardner left Friday for Hawthorne, California, Cal-ifornia, to visit their daughter and son-in-law. Mr. and Mrs. Arthur Orr. Main purpose of the trip is to christen their new grandson. Mr. and Mrs. Elmer Eldredge left this morning for Salt Lake City, where Bliss was going to have a minor hand operation. The Stringhams ' Paul and Jean, and the Harmstons Cam and Gordon, soent Tuesday Tues-day in Salt Lake City. Mont Killian returned home from Montana last week. Myrtle Lambert attended the Educational Leadership week in Logan, Nov. 14 and 15. She was the' official representative from Union High School. Mr. and Mrs. Roy Fowers, of Hooper, Utah, were here last Thursday visiting relative's in Roosevelt, Myton and Ioka. Mrs. Fowers is a niece of Robert Marchant, of Ioka. Mrs. Van Wilkerson was rushed rush-ed to a hospital in Salt Lake 1 last Saturday, suffering from a hemorrhage. Recent reports are that he condition is good.
