Show Feed Mill Board Members On Tour Of Plants Determined to make their newly acquired feed and seed mill completely serve the people of the Roosevelt area, and to equip it with the best possible machinery to do the iob. members mem-bers of the board are conducting conduct-ing tours of the west to maks a study of other feed mills Recently the following board members and representatives of the Uintah Farmers Feed Mill Cooperative toured several Uta'i communities, where they studied programs now in operation: Alma Al-ma Wills, William Ostler, Max Gardner, mill manager; Elmer Yergensen, co-op representative; and Carl Larson, field man fir the Utah Cooperative Association. Associa-tion. They visited feed mills in Heber. Kamas, Ogden, Salt Lake City and Moroni. Monday, Mr. Gardner, Mr. Yergensen and Mr. Larsen left for Salmon, Idaho, where they will investigate a new cooperative cooper-ative mill that is in operation there, and which recently installed in-stalled steam rolling and pellet making machinery. In the very near future, the local feed mill will be equipped with a steam roller and pellet making machinery. However, until that is accomplished, the co-op will continue to encourage farmers to market their grain with them as well as making feeds and flour for local consumption. |
