Tho performance of this task will necessitate tho employment of n largo number of high grodo sawmill operators, and tho district forester at Ogden has been requested to make every effort to interest men of that type. Tho qualifications aro broad oxperionco ln operating a mill of t least 20,000 feet daily capacity; ability to keep tho saw in a log all lay long and to cut on sawing orders to tho best advantage The Bawyor Is regarded as tho heart of tho plant and tho employment of capable men s virtually essential to the successful success-ful operation of a mill. Two sawmill engineers aro desired, tho qualifications being thorough acquaintance ac-quaintance with stationary and por-tablo por-tablo sawmill bollors, onglnos, otc. Two millwrights aro needed who aro able to set up mills, mako repairs, re-pairs, and koop machinery in good running order. Two electricians with sufficient knowledgo of electricity to Install a 10 k. w. plant and wiring for lighting light-ing purposes In mill will form a m.r of tho organization. The organization of later battalions ; will involvo the employment of additional addi-tional numbers of men. All-men entering the 20th Engineers Engin-eers (Forestry) must do so as privates pri-vates without any assurance of special spe-cial grado or consideration.
