Show TWO GROCERY STORE ROBBERIES REPORTED Two grocery stores were entered Thursday night and robbed of various staple articles, according to reports received re-ceived by the police. The Tanner Brothers' Broth-ers' grocery store, 1357. Indiana avenue, was robbed' of three 100-pound sacks of sugar, several sacks of flour and a Quantity Quan-tity of canned goods, cigars, clgarets and tobacco. The A. W. Holder grocery at 8-19 South First West street was entered through a rear door, it is said, .and ten bottles of cherry extract, a quantity of cigarets, cigars and candy Taken. The police are inclined to believe the first theft was committed by men and the second sec-ond by boys. Several dresses owned by I. Clinp. nS Whltmore apartments, were stolen from the clothesline Thursday night, according to the report of the police. |
