Two clubs St. Louis and Pittsburg- in the National league are to have new managers next season, and they probably will be announced an-nounced next week at the annual meeting meet-ing of the league in New York. There is some doubt as to who is to replace Hugo Bezdek as leader of tho Pirates, but it is rumored that Johnny Fivers, ex-Cub, ex-Cub, is seriously considered bv President Presi-dent Dreyfuss, while in St. Louis Bert Shotton is to relieve Branch Rickey of the worries, of handling the team on and off the field. Tho announcement that Shotton Vs-Hl sit ! on the bench next season in - place of i Rickey has virtually been given out in i the report that Rickey is to act as lieu-; lieu-; tenant to the president.
