Show New Teachers on Tap in Moab For Beginning of School Year Seven new teachers will be joining the force in Grand County schools this year, two of whom return after a year's absence. Pamela Kidd, a returning teacher who taught at Helen M. Knight School during 1970-71, 1970-71, will be teaching third grade at Southeast Elementary Elemen-tary School. She is married and has no children. Formerly a teacher for . three years in Sunol, Calif., Martha Bcnge will be teaching teach-ing this year at Helen M. Knight School in the fifth grade. She is married with no children and is a graduate gradu-ate of San Diego State College. Col-lege. Ronald Holyoak, a native of Moab, will begin his first year of teaching in sixth grade at Helen M. Knight School. He is a graduate of Southern Utah State College and is married with two children. A first year teacher, Kim Matheson is a graduate of Southern Utah State College. He will be teaching junior high math and in addition will be basketball and track coach for that school. He will serve as assistant football coach as well. He is married with no children. Returning after a year of absence is Patricia Negley, who has two years of experience exper-ience in Moab elementary schools. She will teach fourth grade at Helen M. Knight school and is married with four children. Mrs. Negley is a graduate of Western State College in Colorado. Patricia Richeson, a first year teacher who did shtdent teaching at the Moab Area Vocational Center, will be teaching business at the Vocational Vo-cational Center this year. She is a graduate of Utah State University and is married mar-ried and has four children. Doyle Whitehead, a first year teacher, will be joining the staff at the junior high school where he will teach math. He is sing'e and is a graduate of Southern Utah State College. |
