One of the social activities of this club was the "Invitational Dancing Parties" which took place during the month of January, this being the anniversary date of the club. This began as a dinner dance for the aniyersary couple party, then extended to include personal friends of each member. This club has donated generously in service and funds to all national, state and local organizations, one member of the club acting as American Cancer Society chairman for Juab County for three years. Our club boasts of many community spirited citizens. Service is an outstanding characteristic of each member. At present we have five teachers in our public schools; many hold prominent church positions as officers and teachers. During World War II War Savings bonds were purchased periodically. Later was one cashed and presented to the Disabled Veterans. Our Community Achievement program is to bring to Nephi Mrs. Marilyn Conover Netolicky, an authority on Interior Decorating, a sejtcub dear to every woman's heart. This is scheduled for toe early spring. A plan under advisement of our committee is to restore an old Nephi landmark. Our membership is proud of our many achievements and the talents which each possesses. We feel we are contributing to the development of our community. Michael Lunt, son of Morgan Lunt of Nephi. Miss Estep is a graduate of the Escondido Union High school. Mr. Lunt, a graduate of the Juab high school at Nephi has been living in Escondido for the past four months. No date has been set for the ' wedding.
