Show Baccalaureate and Commencement Tonight and Friday Morning at CSU dent, director of correspondence and extension classwork, and director of the summer school at USU. A report on the college will be made at the exercises by President Presi-dent Royden C. Braithwaite, and members of the CSU Board of Trustees will be in attendance at the exercises and wil hold a board meeting in connection with the week-long proceedings. Governor Calvin L. Rampton and Dr. Milton R. Merrill will be 196 Baccalaureate and Commencement Com-mencement speakers this week at College of Southern Utah. Governor Rampton will speak at Baccalaureate services in the CSU auditorium this evening, Thursday, June 2 at 7 p. m. Public Pub-lic is cordially invited to attend. Friday morning at 10 a. m. Dr. Merrill will address CSU graduates grad-uates and guests at Commencement Commence-ment exercises also to be staged at the CSU auditorium. . A total of 135 students will je-ceive je-ceive Bachelor degrees in the exercises, ex-ercises, marking the completion of CSU's first year as a four-year state college in a complete liberal lib-eral arts and sciences program. Valedictorian for the graduating graduat-ing class will be Bonnie Bea Clark of Cedar City. She is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Porter Clark and a 1962 graduate of the Cedar High School. Dr. Merrill is vice president for Academic Affairs at Utah State University and has served as director of public relations, instructor in-structor of history and political science, assistant to the presi- |
